Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0 - SID/STAR Problem

With that DP... if you're departing Ry 12.... you will be flying a 320 degree clockwise turn initially.. perhaps that's what your airplane is doing?

If it's not it's very possible there's something wrong with the navdata... On the 1208 cycle my NGX flies a loop on the LOOP6 departure off KLAX... there's really not one in real life.

Its supposed to fly that way on its way to the SAVEM transition. Problem is it makes another circle to get to a waypoint the FMS created when I entered the SID. I used the same flight plan and SID/STAR definitions with the NGX and it would do what I expected to do. If we can figure out why those strange entries are being generated, we could solve the problem.

Hmm, I don't have the C750 installed anymore so I can't be of much help at the moment... It shouldn't be doing it based off your FP info... I'm stumped.

Based on your screenshot, I'd say the first instance of "MLY" may be the problem. You could try deleting it prior to takeoff and see what happens. The 293* course to it does not make sense with reference to the chart. Im 700 nm from my C750 installation at the moment, so I can't load it up and test it out. In all honesty though, Navdata is not always perfect, even in the real databases that cost many multiples more than the Navigraph stuff. I'd probably just fly this procedure raw data and autopilot off until turned back to MLY as it's pretty simple procedure, and the Eaglesoft X is very pleasant to hand fly.

I tried deleting those entries but no joy. I don't think it's possible to delete flight plan entries once the flight plan is closed.

I do agree its fun to fly by hand though but I got it for the automation. Gotta love computer's

Well, y'all can stand around and try to figure out what's wrong.... and you really won't... or relax and give me time to sort it all out. It is a waypoint issue in the navdata and how the FMS is/isn't handling it.

Ah, I did not see the re-register. No wonder my old account would no longer work. I also failed to notice the "If not activated in 24 hours" part. I'm batting 0-2 here. Not looking good. Thankfully someone from Eaaglesoft read my plight and sent me an email. Nice service I should say. I am awaiting approval as we speak.

Little bit of an update. I re-installed FSX this morning and decided to try a flight from MKJP to KFLL. I did not install the FMS update from Navigraph and instead used the data the CX was installed with. It followed the SID exactly as its supposed to. I'd need to do it again a few more times (don't have the time right now unfortunately) to confirm it but it appears there could be an issue with that Navigraph update.
