September 10, 201213 yr Commercial Member Razbam is doing the Metroliner, and I think they are going to pull out all the stops on this build. We take the Metal and bring it to Mesh.

September 10, 201213 yr I've always wanted a decent Metroliner for FS. I remember when I was young and Air NZ still operated them, seeing them come into my hometown Napier...and later when the shortlived budget airline Origin Pacific was flying them around. Those were the days. Can't wait to see the flight deck!
September 10, 201213 yr would love to fly a cargo version if they make it. Lots of them still flying around the America's and Caribbean
September 11, 201213 yr There is an airline in Winnipeg, Manitoba that operates 20+ metro 2's and 3's (plus a few dash 8's). They've been in business for decades and are one of the few airlines in North America than consistantly make money - Perimeter Airlines. I flew a 2 there for awhile in the 1990's. Some of the destinations were 3000' of gravel in the middle of nowhere in all kinds of weather.
September 13, 201213 yr I have loved this plane since i read an article in the local newspaper about some spanish basketball teams and their travels around the country in the metro. Yep, basketball players (who had totally forbidden any movement out of their seats and were seven levels of cramped inside the Metro). The article was beyond funny to read, but it was obvious those teams were terrorized by the plane (nicknamed "the mosquito" for the sound of the engines). It offered fast travel compared to a bus, but everyone was fearing for his life the moment the plane took off. Bring me a good "Mosquito" please, can´t wait to make some flights carrying spanish basketball teams Abat Hernaez
