Missing default FS9 airports?

Featured Replies

I sent you a PM about how things were going after restoring my airports, I dont know if you have read it. I was checking for anymore files I was missing, and it seems like I have everything except the AB files in the NAME folder, should I replace those as well? What do these files do?

Hi Steven, I apologize for missing your PM for a while. I have responded there. As far as what the ABxxxxxx.bgl files do; they are VTTP type terrain texture files if I remember correctly.

Regards,

Mel

AB9nnnn0.bgl files are the airport backgrounds that provide the grass skirting at the airports and exclude the autogen from the underlying landclass textures.

I would think it quite obvious if these files are missing.

Mr.Weber,

I'm not near my FS computer at the moment. When I get back home tonight I'll give you the requested information.

Thank you

Steven

Okay, thank you.

Okay, thank you.

Here you go, I excluded the SLI section as I dont run SLI, so the settings for me are irrelevant.

I did notice AF optimazation was off in this screenshot and turned that on, the rest are the setting I currently use for FS.
