FS Global Ultimate in P3D

Featured Replies

Has anybody succeeded in installing FSGU Americas & Europe in P3D, and if yes how to do this.

I know there is an installer for P3D coming from FS Pilots, but I can't wait to have these installed again

^_^

Thanks in advance

i installed fs global 2010 using the estonia mugrator tool... works fine.

I installed mine in FSX then copied the scenery.cfg entries to P3D. Works great.

In the disks I received there is a P3D installer on the Asia/Oceania set but not on the others.

The Estonia Migrator tool works a charm, even without FSX installed. Thx.

What's the benefit of even installing these? FSGlobal Ult is like $120....and isn't the data in 2010 old now?

I've been a supporter of FSPilots products since FS Global 2005, and every release got better. (and larger and more expensive ^_^ )

True to life terrain, better immersion. I'm hooked on this one.

Hello everyone,

it is only a matter of copying scenery.cfg lines related to FS Global Ultimate into the P3D's scenery.cfg file?

Asking that because I saw that installation within FSX created a folder in FSX root folder called "pilots software" or something like that with various files and probably some configuration files.

I have actually installed FS Global Ultimate on C:\ drive where it is also installed FSX, while P3D is on another disk.

Thanks, bye.

Hi Riccardo,

if P3D is installed on another disk than FSX, I would add FS Global UT scenery manually, inside P3D with pulldown menu SCENERY LIBRARY. Nothing else is to do.

I did so and it worked.

That's how I use it. Works flawless.

With scenery such fsglobal, year does not realy matter, cause mountains and valleys wount have chnaged by much since 2010.

If you use default stuff, well this makes the land in fs sim look much better.

Just make sure you have powerfull enough PC to show the detailed scnery you buy. Found out abit late about that myself.

You buy complex scnery you gona have to turn those scnery sliders to the resolution of what you bought to see it, but if you PC aint up to it, you gona be enjoying your fsglobal or ultimate with stutters for free. Purchased Ultimate before i remembered this.

I do not know, how mountain mesh changed from FS Global 2010 to FS Global UT, but with UT, there is a very clearly visible improvement over the default mesh. I am speaking of Alps in central Europe.
