Checklist

Featured Replies

Starting from the usefull tutorial created by Kurt Kalbfleisch and official Carenado C90B checklist, I've created my own "one-page-two-side" checklist for my flights.

I hope you can find it usefull

Note: bold items should be performed only during first flight of the day

Thank you very much, Luca.

This proves very useful if one's not flying our C90B too regularly.

I wonder if you would mind double checking your checklist. The initial items I have problems are marked below, I didn't look at the rest in detail.

Engine Anti-ice .............................. ON ---- why?

Pilot's Mic Switch .......................... NORMAL

Battery .......................................... ON

Fuel FW Shutoff Valves ................. CLOSE

Battery .......................................... OFF

Crossfeed ..................................... OPEN, [FUEL CROSSFEED]

ILLUMINATED, THEN CLOSE --- the battery is OFF,

Boost Pumps ................................. ON (listen for operation) --- battery is still OFF,

...

Transfer Pumps ............................. OFF

Boost Pumps ................................. ON (listen for operation) --- If this is first flight of the day, battery will be on, if it isn't, then the battery state is unknown.

Maybe trying to read the tutorial here will explain your questions,

Thanks for the pointer. Interesting reading, but it also shows the risks of cut and paste. Yoda's tutorial also suggests that the crossfeed light will illuminate with the battery off.
