Anyone know how to stop the default flight and go directly to the free flight screen without a default flight?

@ Jim, what is sooooo hard to understand about that? :Peace:

I get a case of beer for being right.. JFYI.

@HawkDs...no you were not right. it has to be unchecked to stop the default flight. No Beer, sorry!! :( Thanks for showing me how to stop the default flight!!

you can also create your OWN default flight - just set it up, save it and check "make this the default flight". Then when you load to the free flight screen, the settings will be filled in for THAT flight - you can fly or modify as you wish.

VgBaraon and @HawkDs are both correct, IF one wants FS to start at the opening screen and with a different aircraft and scenerio than default. (Aircraft, Time of Day, Location, zoom ratios, etc). If the box for show opening screen is not checked, FSX will go directly to airport, aircraft setup in default flight and bypass the opening screen.

LOL. Got way more complicated then necessary.

If the box for show opening screen is not checked, FSX will go directly to airport, aircraft setup in default flight and bypass the opening screen.

Thank You! I was about to type all that, and you saved me!
