October 9, 201213 yr Hi Harold, Of course - thanks for taking the time to write it up... Sound promising - I'll take a closer look... Regards, Scott
October 10, 201213 yr I've been using FSHotSFX for years and it works great. The only thing is that it doesn't work in newer OS' above XP. Windows 7 and Vista are out if you want to use FSHotSFX.
October 10, 201213 yr Author I've been using FSHotSFX for years and it works great. The only thing is that it doesn't work in newer OS' above XP. Windows 7 and Vista are out if you want to use FSHotSFX. I thought Win7 could run older programs in "compatibility" mode? Why can't it run FSHotSFX? Does FSHotSFX run in FS9.1? How much does FSHotSFX cost ($US)? Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
October 10, 201213 yr Just search for the name - the web site comes up... I did the same - it looks like they offer free demos - so you can try it yourself... I'm going to test on Win7 this weekend if I have some time... Regards, Scott
October 10, 201213 yr It's been tested to death on the newer OS's, and it just doesn't work. You must have XP or older... Tom Gibson CalClassic Propliner Page
October 31, 201213 yr I just wish that FS9 at least had a few more ai aircraft sound categories.......like single engine antiques and twin engine antiques. Then a J-3 would sound like a J-3 instead of a C-172, and a Twin Beech-18 would sound like a Twin Beech-18 instead of a Piper Navajo. A single engine homebuilt category would be good too so that the ai homebuilt aircraft with non-standard engines adapted for use in an aircraft could be represented. A Rotax engine sounds very different than a Lycoming aircraft engine.
