October 14, 201213 yr I've sent a support request via email but thought I'd try here also. Ever since installing V. 2.5..0.0 my MCE seems not to recognize FSX. The ATC / Checklist / Sim tabs all have " Data not available " in the area where the relevant data from FSX should be. Several clean reinstalls. Reset factory settings. FSinsider.dll present in FSX folder dll.xml entries for MCE verified license key in MCE folder ....no issues with Windows 7 64 bit on previous installs any suggestions ? cheers Greg

October 14, 201213 yr Greg you mention you have FsInsider.dll present ... but which version? I have noticed that when updating MCE this dll is rarely correctly replaced by the newer version (FS9).

October 14, 201213 yr Author Greg you mention you have FsInsider.dll present ... but which version? I have noticed that when updating MCE this dll is rarely correctly replaced by the newer version (FS9). Just as a precaution I unzipped and installed a second downloaded zip and installed MCE again....then physically copied the new FSInsider.dll to my FSX folder... still no data ! not sure what else to try at this point... I really want V 2.5 to work , as the JS41 is one of my most flown AC in the sim cheers Greg
October 14, 201213 yr I've sent a support request via email Guess its best to wait for FS++ to reply ... they are normally quite prompt. Hope you get it sorted soon.
October 16, 201213 yr Author FROM FS++ ............THANKS GUYS !! ----------------------------- Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying to your query. This can happen when you are in "DIALOG MODE" If you are definitely in "flight mode" with aircraft sitting on the tarmac and ready to fly, while MCE user interface is showing "Recognition in DIALOG MODE" at the top, you need to override that behaviour as follows... Right-click anywhere on the user interface, then select "Force flight mode" from the drop down menu. Impromptu switching to "DIALOG MODE" can be caused by some add-on creating a dialog style window making MCE think a FSX dialog box has been opened. In DIALOG MODE you cannot converse with FO or ATC. Regards, The FS++ team --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
