Two views only after DX10 mod

Featured Replies

This is odd, I've installed DX10 mod without a problem but I'm now left out with a cockpit and tower view only when pressing 'S' on the keyboard to change views. I can access spot and wing views by right clicking the mouse on the screen and choosing desired view. Any ideas?

Anyone? Where in FSX are the views managed?

Thanks, Bart. Why on earth would you pass a "views" issue off to the DX10 group? Just because he uses DX10??? FSX views aren't anything at all to do with the Shaders files or DirectX version! Nada.

At any one time there might be five users viewing that content, whereas here there are usually 50+ on the FSX forum - some of whom may actually be able to help.

Views are managed/configured either by EZCA, FSUIPC, or setup in the "Settings"->"Controls" part of the opening screens.

General views are found within the C:\Users\[username}\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX\Cameras.cfg.

Individual views are set within each aircrafts' .cfg file - [CameraDefinition.XX], with other views being set within the individual aircrafts' panel.cfg.

And lastly - we're not "experts".

I am assuming that you also tried the "A" key to cycle views within the group AFTER using the "S" key to get to the group.

Do you have EZCA installed? If you have and you have the key commands S and A as next and previous view within EZCA then FSX might have also the same conflicting keys set within the controls section. I get this sometimes and when you press S or A it recognises this as 2 keypresses.

Paul, I didn't have the chance to get anything tested last night, I've decided to watch Dumb & Dumber a.k.a Presidential debate on the telly last night. Will be testing tonight, it's quite possible that the issue is related to EZDOK.

:LMAO: :LMAO:

More than likely EZCA, Drum: I find it's a real p.i.t.a. when you suddenly "can't get out from behind the nosewheel", or you're suddenly facing completely backwards, or the "World Camera" blows your scenery all up in the air, or leaves one sitting with the wheels under water - always at Bowerman. I like the shakes, and there have been times when I have liked the camera, but right now it's driving me up the b****y wall.

Surely related to EZCA, I don't know where I screwed up yet though. Thanks for the input.
