October 20, 201213 yr Am I the only one who finds the QW VC a bit lacking? ie, the CDU isn't clickable, IGN selectors aren't either, and the text is a little out-of-resolution. I'm not trashing the product, as it has an amazing exterior model, soundset, and price value, and a more believable FDE, but I find myself (trying to) flying the CS 757 just a little more because of those nags. Just my 2 cents worth,
October 20, 201213 yr CS757 looks nicer on the inside yes, but as a WHOLE i think the QW757 stands out, even if it does have some VNAV problems... And overspeed too CASE: Fractal Terra Silver CPU: AMD R5 7800X3D 5.0Ghz RAM: 32GB DDR5 6000 GPU: nVidia RTX 4070 Ti SUPER · SSDs: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB M.2 PCIe · PNY XLR8 CS3040 2TB M.2 PCIe · VIDEO: LG-32GK650F QHD 32" 144Hz FREE/G-SYNC · MISC: Thrustmaster TCA Airbus Joystick + Throttle Quadrant · MSFS2024 · Windows 11
October 20, 201213 yr I keep coming back to the QW 757 but every time I have the same issue in that it always overspeeds during the climb. Tried VNAV and FL Change but the speed just keeps increasing with both. So its back to CS for now. I have the same problem. The thing climbs like the space shuttle.
October 20, 201213 yr I have the same problem. The thing climbs like the space shuttle. It does have a high climb rate, as does the real one, especially if lightly loaded. However I have never had it overspeed using VNAV, it locks onto the FMC commanded speed and holds it perfectly. Jay
October 20, 201213 yr Jay, I haven't done a flight recently where I actually put in a load using Topcat or the QW load manager, so that might have something to do with it. Otherwise, it's a very nice aircraft.
October 21, 201213 yr However I have never had it overspeed using VNAV, it locks onto the FMC commanded speed and holds it perfectly. Same here, no problems whatsoever with speed or flight path. Everything works fine. Flo Florian
