Ready to fly...without engines

Featured Replies

Whoa!.... At first I thought the pilots have applied the take off thrust and something has gone terribly wrong with the Load&Balance.. Only to realize the plane doesn't have engines hehehe..

I recon after the engines have been removed the 747 have become tail heavy. Then you have the stabilizers being left trimmed for take off (or nearly there) and you have the ingredients for the event filmed on the video. Nice..

The flaps are down, the engines are missing, the wind of a storm is fast enough... she rotates... she is empty, so light...

it's so sad to see an aircraft like that in the scrap yard, it should be out flying.

+1 and +1 Call me a nutcase but i hate seeing those planes like that, its like a graveyard, and its upsetting to see them get ripped apart, id love to be able to buy one and live in it (747) and when i felt like simming id just go to the flight deck. I have seen this vid before.

It is extremely sad to see it sitting there like that, you are all right! I have seen several videos of aircraft being taken to this "graveyard", and it really saddens me every single time - I think for those of us who love aircraft, it is more than just a machine, every one has it's own soul and character.

Kind regards.
