October 30, 201213 yr I'm pretty sure what they mean is, press the control that will turn on precision. If it's turned off, TrackIR gets jerky. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
October 30, 201213 yr Commercial Member Cheryl When you say "precision is disabled", is this what you are referring to? I disable precision to eliminate the conflict with my flap operation. Regards, Brent Press the F7 key to turn Precision on. Stephen

October 30, 201213 yr Commercial Member If you are using TIR4 then most of our users are having success using the Naturalpoint (5.1.300) driver and Opus scan rates of about 30, although those with 8Gb memory are having some problems. If you are having problems with TIR can you let us know whether you have TIR4 or TIR5, which driver, and how much memory you have so that we can gain some insight into the problems with Thanks Cheryl No problem Brent, look forwards to hearing from you on the forums. Cheryl
October 31, 201213 yr Cheryl, Just to close the loop on this, after installing Opus (upgraded to ver 2.30) and following the instructions in the manual, I experienced no TIR jerkiness. In fact it runs as smooth as butter using my TIR4 with 5.1.300 driver. I do have 8 Gb of memory and experienced no problems whatsoever. :dance: Cheers, Brent Brent Beale
October 31, 201213 yr Is this with precision on or off? It would be wonderful if you could get smooth tracking without using the precision setting. Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;

November 1, 201213 yr Is this with precision on or off? It would be wonderful if you could get smooth tracking without using the precision setting. Hook Left it 'off' to see how things would behave and it was fine....in fact, I found it smoother than what I had been getting from Ezca. Brent Brent Beale
November 1, 201213 yr Commercial Member Ok, perhaps we will change our recommendations about precision. It would.be useful to have some more.feedback as to whether it makes a difference on people's systems. I suppose it is worth a try on sytems with jerkiness just to see if it helps or not. Thanks Cheryl
