June 18, 201312 yr Traffic 360 (and TrafficX) does include a lot of airport AFCADs. I usually wind up deleting them automatically for any add-on airport I fly to or from. Can't really answer your other questions, as despite being originally optimistic about T360, I've now given up on it and rolled back to TrafficX. Over six months later and no patch? Sorry, but my answer to the original poster's question would now be "avoid like the plague"! The Couch Aviator's Diary - a newbie's journey into flight simming http://couchaviator.blogspot.co.uk/
June 18, 201312 yr The comment about traffic levels is probably correct, Burkhard Renk the developer of MyTrafficX has always said that traffic slider levels from 30 to 50% in FSX represent close to reality traffic volumes. If you move the slider higher than that with MTX you will then start to see fictional schedules added on top of the real schedules. These fictional scheds are included to fill up the airports so almost every stand is occupied, this was done because some customers incorrectly think every stand would be full in reality when this simply isn't the case most of the year, it keeps those customers happy though. What's worse is that each AI traffic app treats the FSX slider (0-100%) differently. I use 25-30% with MYT Pro 5.4 and that produces very realistic traffic levels at major airports. But other apps might need a different number and one should consult the specific app's documentation. In any case, 100% in FSX does not universally mean that it is equivalent to the actual AI traffic volume produced by a 3rd party app.
June 19, 201312 yr Commercial Member Hi all, If anyone would like to assist us in testing the upcoming Traffic 360 service pack, please drop me an e-mail: martyn[at]justflight.com @@ranger79 - that issue will be fixed by the SP (bit breezy for the passengers!) @@JDLinn - Traffic 360 does include new AFCADs but they can be disabled by unticking the entry in the scenery library. June 19, 201312 yr Martyn, thank you. Easy to do too. I'm running ORBX SAK, had a problem with PAEN and PAKT. Just changed the ".bgl" to ".off" and problem solved. Much appreciated. Doug
October 5, 201510 yr I repurchased JF 360X just to have the latest version (I had purchased it originally in 2010). I am using FSX Steam. This latest version has plenty of AI aircraft in most of the major Airports world wide. That being said, It does not show any aircraft at San Franscisco Int'l or Oakland Int'l., and it does not show any general aviation AI aircraft at any general aviation airport. I assume it is "operator error" as I am way too old to qualify as a "techi". Can anyone suggest a solution?
