October 31, 201213 yr JF has releaed upgrade version of Traffic 360 today to existing Traffic X users. The product look nice and includes a lot of ground service vehicles! What is your ideas about the new product? The full version is now on pre-order. I own My Traffic X 5.4 and it's good though graphics are not good. Do you think the JF one can really have high quality AI aircrafts while reducing FPS impact? NEW FEATURES NEW! 20 all-new and 40 upgraded aircraft models featuring more detail and higher resolution textures. NEW! 312 new and updated aircraft liveries, bringing the total number of aircraft variants to 2,420. All the aircraft from Traffic X and the three Traffic X PlusPaks are included! NEW! Improved detailed animations such as flaps, landing gear, and animated passenger doors on turboprops and small range jets. Turboprops and small jets that do not use the terminal docking jetways are equipped with steps. NEW! For the first time in the Traffic series we have included custom airport ground traffic in five world regions, including baggage loaders, baggage trucks, pushback tugs, fuel trucks, and police and service vehicles. NEW! 29 custom sounds for AI aircraft, including reverse thrust on the appropriate aircraft. NEW! Features the most realistic flight schedules ever! The data is from real-world flight schedules covering the entire globe and over 612,000 flight plans are included for international, national, regional, commuter and cargo flights. NEW! The enhanced Traffic Control Centre (TCC) lets you apply ChronoTraffic to individual flight plans as well as aircraft and provides the option to select only certain schedules (Military 2012, Summer 2012, Winter 2010, Spring 2012, Summer 2007 and VFR Traffic). DETAILED DESCRIPTION Traffic Control Centre (TCC) lets you easily customise and expand your AI traffic. Traffic Editor has improved flight planning and greatly enhanced traffic generation features to allow you to easily create new traffic, whether randomly generated traffic or detailed scheduled connections as in the real world. The Editor lets you set up one-way flights and compile flights by region. Correct identifiers - all flights use their correct aircraft/airline identifiers and tail numbers according to the country of origin. ChronoTraffic - AI time period selection feature. Every Traffic 360 AI aircraft and flight can now be set to be only operational during a user-defined period of years. In the traffic database you can easily select the year or range of years in which you want the aircraft to appear. This flexible feature means that you can easily see older aircraft such as Concorde or out-of-service airlines, or up-to-date traffic or even future aircraft chosen from the included Traffic 360 aircraft fleets. Flyable aircraft tool – allows you to make the Traffic 360 AI aircraft flyable (generic cockpits and flight models employed). Driveable Follow Me car and pushback truck - you can explore the airport from the ground. Spotty, the plane spotting feature, and the unique Control Tower view let you watch aircraft as they are land, taxi, park and depart as well as listen to their ATC communications. Control Tower comes in four different sizes from 'Airfield' to 'Large International Airport' and can be placed anywhere in the world. A 2D panel and a complete Tower interior provide everything you need to observe all AI traffic in your area: Traffic Radar provides information on each AI aircraft in range, including vertical speed and current altitude, bearing and distance, identification and true airspeed Multifunction display with geographical information, clock showing UTC and local time, weather display including wind speed and direction, pressure readings for QNH and QFE as well as temperature, a COMMS panel, controls to move the view with a simple mouse-click, heading indicators and a light switch for night lighting Custom sounds to replace the generic FSX default sounds - a total of 29 different sound sets, recorded from real aircraft, provide more variety and more realism thanks to special take-off, landing, thrust reverser sounds and many more. Hear the typical take-off sound of an Airbus 321 or the noisy thrust reversers of a landing Tornado – Traffic 360 is an immersive experience for all the senses! Zicheng Cai
November 1, 201213 yr Hi Albus, Hard to know until they actually release it and people get a chance to try it on their rigs. I've been wondering the same thing you have. One thing I'll say is that the pics look really good. Lots of great models and additional animations. I'm using UT2 and I can't recall how the number of flights compares to 360 but it looks promising to me. Personally I'm going to hold off to see about performance before I take the plunge, but I'm excited about the prospect of a program that combines the best features of Traffic X and UT2. November 1, 201213 yr Just Flight have always used bgl traffic files, I can't see them changing that now, especially after all the problems UT2 has with traffic injection via simconnect. So no 360 won't follow Flight Plans, that's not possible with bgl based traffic. I'm also fairly certain that UT2 doesn't use SIDS and STARs, UT2 traffic is still ultimately controlled by the same default MSFS AI/ATC dlls and they do not use arrival and departure procedures. Cheers, Andy.

Seems MyTraffic X 5.2A and UTX are still the best ai traffic programs? What about aerosoft traffic 2013? Zicheng Cai
November 1, 201213 yr Seems MyTraffic X 5.2A and UTX are still the best ai traffic programs? Seems hard to make that claim when Traffic 360 isn't even available yet. I'm curious if it's going to be any good too. - Aaron
November 1, 201213 yr Commercial Member Seems MyTraffic X 5.2A and UTX are still the best ai traffic programs? What about aerosoft traffic 2013? I think Aerosoft Mytraffic 2013 has really nothing improved from Mytraffic 5.4, at least that's what I have heard.
November 1, 201213 yr MyTraffic X Professional 5.4a is the current version of that AI package, 5.4b has been in testing for about 3 or 4 weeks and should be out any time now, the update is free for any 5.4 or 5.4a customers. Yes Aerosoft's MyTraffic 2013 is practically the same as Simmarkets "MyTraffic X Professional 5.4a", except for a different installer and tech support is provided by Aerosoft rather than Burkhard Renk the developer, it also has less extra features too AFAIK. Always get the Simmarket product MyTraffic X Professional 5.4 as more of the money goes to the developer not the distributor, plus tech support is better as it's the developer that supports that version not Aerosoft who seem to have very little knowledge of the product. Cheers, Andy.

November 1, 201213 yr I dont own any traffic programs. Im wondering how much different is it than the default AI? Less impact on FPS? Seems to be confusing now. Ultimate traffic, my traffic X and now 360. Would be nice if AI traffic had some sort of intelligence on the ground and in the air instead of always interferring with your aircraft. November 1, 201213 yr here you go Traffic 360 features the most realistic worldwide aircraft schedules ever, using data from real-world flight schedules covering the entire globe, and adds over half a million flight plans and over 2,400 individual aircraft variants to your flight simulator environment I'm using the new 360 version just released.so haven't really seen everything it does yet..noticed some really nice ai startup sounds though steve-0 REX SKYFORCE 3D steve howlett
November 1, 201213 yr MyTrafficX has had real world schedules for more than 800,000 (daily) flights for at least the last couple of years so they aren't the first or the most realistic, authenticity is unquantifiable anyway i.e. marketing speak. Here is a quote from part of the MTX feature list. 5,700,000+ weekly AI Flights - MyTraffic X includes over 5,700,000 (yes, that's correct – almost 6 million) AI flights per week between 8,262 airports in all regions of the world. These flights include international, national, regional, commuter, general aviation, cargo, amphibian airlines, military and touch and go circuits. Cheers, Andy.

November 1, 201213 yr I recently purchased "MyTraffic X Professional 5.4a" in order to replace my WOAI traffic, which had a good amount of aircraft paints not showing up in my DX-10 setup. I have to say that I love the number of aircraft available, particularly the obscure paints and the airports covered but the models on most of the commercial aircraft and just about all of the GA planes are like something out of FS8. I found that aspect extremely disappointing. I'm really hoping that 5.4b will improve upon this aspect, as I would hate to have to spend additional money on yet another AI traffic program. P.S. I'm willing to take a slight hit in framerate if it means better renditions of airplanes. Heck, the free WOAI airplanes look significantly better and they were designed for FS9. Alexander Alonso
