Hi Zoran

Glad to hear you got your system up and running again. You should be OK with the defaults just make sure you specify your Destination and Alternates (or other sites of interest) in the Weather dialog.

Hi Gareth

We will soon be adding an enhancement to reorder camera views and also an option to cycle backwards through the views. Also on the list are options to import and export camera views so users can share settings.

You should be able to edit an existing camera and assign to additional aircraft, but remember any adjustments you make will apply to all the selected aircraft in the list (old and new), if that makes sense.

It is up to you if you wish to create new cameras for specific aircraft. The basic process is;

  • optionally select a view similar to the one you want with Select Your Camera View,
  • select Add a New Camera,
  • name the new camera view,
  • Assign Aircraft Types To Your Camera View,
  • make any adjustments,
  • Save All Cameras.

Cheers

Cheryl

really impressed with the camera views. Due to my set up being a projector screen Im seated to the far left of the cockpit but Im now able to reset my view by dragging the cockpit to where it should be in my sim :-)

a question, when i select a new camera, where do I name the camera? if its in "assign a/c types" then how can I select multiples of the same aircraft but diff paint etc?

Hi Zoran

You name or rename a view by clicking in the actual name box within the Camera dialog, you can use the usual cut and paste features of Windows. To assign a group of aircraft to a view, click on the 'Assign Aircraft Types To Your Camera View' button then click while holding down the CTRL key to append/remove individual entries, alternatively to select a consecutive group of aircraft, select the first entry in the group, hold down the SHIFT key and then click on the last entry in the group.

Suggest "You Tube" Tutorials.

I have read the manual on Opus Camera creation. It seems somewhat to very un-intuitive?

I may be wrong on this, but it might be easier to comprehend with one or several "You Tube" tutorials. It might be a Win Win situation if Opus published these tutorials. It would be a "Win" for the user community to better understand and hopefully would lessen the amount of questions in the forums. Also, it might be a "Win" for Opus and help sales of this product if potential buyers understood before their purchase of what the camera option is capable of and how simple (or difficult) it is to set up.
