November 24, 201213 yr Thanks Ryan... That does look real nice! Jeff NorthLink VA - Commerce & Community in Northern North America!
November 24, 201213 yr Don't get too excited (yet). I really hope I'm wrong but my guess is that we are months or more out, Ben. The Digital Aviation folks are able to produce really nice planes. I still run some very old ones of theirs. But there also is a small bunch of folks waiting for a VC for example, for that Fokker. And since the CRJ already is long overdue with slow/no progress, we can expect a lot, but not so much a fast release. Just guessing. By the way, I like how they mention the 'vital' wingflex feature over there. Is it really just that what makes a good sim plane? I don't know. ^_^ To be clear, it won't feature wingflex which seems like the end of the world for some.
November 25, 201213 yr Author I agree, it's going to be a long while... Also in the same forums they've got the Twin Otter previews as well (it looks much much much better than the original) - I just hope for a RXP spot in the VC. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 25, 201213 yr Do we have a timeframe? No, at least none that I'm aware of. But from what happened with the Aribus Extended, I'd say they might have learned their lesson, and won't give any dates till they are sure they can release it. Furthermore, this is a project not (exclusively) done by Aerosoft, and the guy working on the systems seems to do that more as a hobby than as his main profession (please don't get me wrong here: I mean it in terms of "His primary profession is something else, and he does the rpogramming of the CRJ systems when he has the time to do so."), so AS will not be able to provide as much info on progress as they did/do for the Airbus, and progress will also be slower.
