wow that looks bad. I would not DL that if it was free. Dear me....

Sorry to say, I felt the same. Looks very vanilla, more so than BluePrints airports.

After trying the freeware KORF available in the AVSIM files, I went ahead and bought the Cavusim package and I like it. Attached are my own screenshots of portions of the field, and the actual airport on Google Earth. Everything is pretty much where it should be, and the hangars are accurately modeled.

Tarps can you provide a few more shots closer to the terminal / garage?

Not wanting to get much off topic here but has anyone tried the Mach 1 scenery of ORF in FSX? Any good results if so?

Certainly, just need to run some Christmas Eve errands then will post more shots later today.

Here are some more detailed screen shots of the Cavusim KORF package. The jagged edges on the image details are from me making the shots in slew mode and are not the fault of the scenery. I would say it's a good deal at US$9.99, at least for us locals who would like an accurate representation of the airport.

Thanks, Ill probaby buy after New Year. I imagine you combine it with P3D and you will have the most accurate Norfolk, VA available.

That scenery looks pretty horrible. However, much like being stranded on a deserted island with a really unattractive woman...I guess anything beats nothing at all. Just get really drunk, squint really hard and think about FSDreamteam! LOL!

Lol, Now we all know KORF will never get any serious treatment. Kind of be happy it resembles it. Wonder how the P3D version is.

Wow, you guys are a tough crowd. ^_^ Since we've pretty much addressed KORF, let me ask those who posted here - which FSX scenery providers do you like?

:LMAO:

I guess for 9.99, you're getting what you pay for. The enjoyment of seeing all the buildings at your local airport, a little bland, but there.
