Recommend an alternative to PMDG 737?

Featured Replies

Merry Christmas (nearly).

As in the title, I would like to have a go and fly a 737.

But due to my pc not being the most up to date and the extra load the PMDG 737 would probably inflict, I was wondering what other good 737 simulations are available?

Thanks in advance.

The IFly is excellent I used that before the NGX came out. I recommend it 100% for you and it will not be as hard on frames in the least compared to the NGX. Enough is modeled that you really won't know the difference unless you are of the hardcores of users.

The PMDG 737 NGX does have a low res cockpit option that may make a difference for you.

Hello

I find the iFly to be about the same as the NGX as far as fps is concerned.

At least there is the chance to try the iFly and return it if it does not perform well

+1

Yes the iFly 737 NG is great.

For normal use you do not feel a difference with PMDG.

The iFly is also a bit lighter on the framerate.

If you say the PMDG VC is perfect then the iFly VC is very good.

The forum support for registered users is truly fantastic.

As already said, the Ifly 737 is excellent !

And it has all models 737-600/700/800/900 BBJ1/2/3 .(BBJ with HUD)

And you can try it for 30 days !

If it doesn't fit you, you simply return it !

It has been reported that the Fps of the Ifly are about the same as the

Pmdg's, but the Ifly needs overall less system resources.

You can get the plane here :

On the Ifly forum you find also the so-called Feature-Pack update

which adds Terrain Display, IAN, RNP/ANP and HUD on all models.
