December 25, 201213 yr North Pole. Interesting. Might be the town of North Pole, Ak. But surely not the true North Pole? Enjoy. Thank you. December 26, 201213 yr Well, I did find that elusive North Pole tower. I then landed at nearby Airway strip (5AK3). Very tight approach with high trees on either side, big surprise! There is also a water approach that is long enough for float planes, to bad we don't have any. Only the paved strip counted as a landing. I took a job to South Gasline 255 miles(AK39) proved to be just as challenging. Yes, I used the skip. No time for a flight like that tonight. Steve

December 26, 201213 yr Sure, fly the pattern to it and... land! If choosing a job, make sure that the correct Weather Theme with the appropriate wind has been selected. :LMAO: :LMAO: Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
December 26, 201213 yr If choosing a job, make sure that the correct Weather Theme with the appropriate wind has been selected. And also consider making sure to fly right side up :-)!
December 26, 201213 yr to bad we don't have any I did have the Icon there also to check the water landing. Yes, it floats and is a plane but but not a true float plane like this. Steve

I ask because Air1 said "Yes, I used the skip" and shows a screenshot of a destination marker on a runway. Yet this is a Aerocache which does not have objectives and markers except for the cache itself.

December 27, 201213 yr Did I happen to mention I once knew a pretty red haired young lady from North Pole, Alaska? Heather was her name. She left North Pole for Phoenix, Arizona, where I got to know her. Talk about from the freezer into the frying pan...
December 27, 201213 yr Screenshots are highly appreciated, Lance! Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
December 29, 201213 yr "I took a job to South Gasline 255 miles(AK39) proved to be just as challenging. Yes, I used the skip." Missed that, silly me. Pity we will never see features like setting a target airfield.
