February 18, 201313 yr Well, darn. That's a real shame. Who knows what lays undiscovered though. I'd still like to know what was in the "muddy" crates. Dig it up for crying out loud.
February 18, 201313 yr So thats it then. Its all called off or is there other areas they are searching? What a shame! Kind Regards Simon.
February 18, 201313 yr ..... I'd still like to know what was in the "muddy" crates. Dig it up for crying out loud. There is nothing in it ....now. The former content is safely stored in my hangar. Btw...Those babies use a LOT of fuel. Neal Howard
February 18, 201313 yr well we can just paint up 37 Just Flight spits in mud colours and add them to the Burma scenery somewhere, at least that could be added to an adventure - find the Burma spits!
February 19, 201313 yr Those babies use a LOT of fuel. LOL, I bet they do! paint up 37 Just Flight spits in mud colours and add them to the Burma scenery Now that is a very cool idea. The thing that kills me is.. it took a couple years to even get permission for the project... then in a couple weeks, research shows they were re-shipped out. Maybe that bit of info should have been found first... before all the hype.

February 21, 201313 yr Doh! My exact thought too.. I hope they don't give up the search though. There are so many personal accounts from vets who claim to have seen this done on several occasions in other places. So maybe they can still find some. Just ONE, brand new in a crate, would still be an epic find and story.
February 21, 201313 yr who knows - maybe they will dig up a fully functional TSR2 - which allegedly was broken up and buried! - I know where to find some nimrods if your interested!
