Hello I am considering adding to my Gibraltar Antartica. corfu and Maldives add ons

Has anyone got Faro Barcelona or Innsbruck that could give me some feedback on what they think of them. Christmas money burning a hole in my pocket

AVSIM has some excellent reviews of these products. I have all the ones you mention there, and of them, my favorites are absolutely Gibraltar, Innsbruck, and Corfu. All of them are good choices though. Maldives are great for the Twotter, as is Antarctica as well. Barcelona is a nice larger one, but doesn't really extend detail past the airport, and the same applies for Faro (don't get me wrong, they are still nice). Anything specific you want to know about any of them?

Thanks for your comments Been a couple of times to Faro so just wondered how well it looks compared to the real one , and thought it would be a nice little flight from Gibraltar. Plus it comes with 3 other airports in the package :-)

 

Likewise Innsbruck for the challenge of the mountains all around

Indeed, for the price it's pretty solid, and gives you a few all over the Mediterranean. All those you stated there are solid choices, Innsbruck and Gibraltar are a blast. Two others in that area that are larger in size that you might want to look into are Balearic Islands X Palma de Mallorca, and Nice X. Both very nice and have coverage outside of the airport as well.

Have them all except antarctica.

 

All very good, except Malvides because they have default runway and taxiway textures. (the same applies for Tahiti).

 

Also I would totally avoid Antarctica as it was made by the same developer that made Rotterdam, which is unflyable because he has incorrectly placed the runway lighting around both displaced thresholds of the runway (lights at the beginning of the runway, and NOT at the displaced thresholds as they SHOULD be). And in all these months hasn't bothered to correct this CRITICAL error.

 

 

 

PS: Do not get Faro alone.

 

Get instead the Holiday airports package. It is an excellent value for money, with 4 great airports (although Antalya is a bit heavy on frames).

 

PS2: dmbusmc mentioned Balearic Islands X Palma de Mallorca.

 

Again, do not get just that.

 

Get the whole Balearic Islands X package. Again great value for money, and you get three excellent airports (LEPA, LEIB, LEMH).

 

PS3: Also if you like mountaineous approaches, some more airports to consider (all are very good):

 

- Aerosoft's Trondheim (ENVA)

- FSDT's Geneva (LSGG)

- Thai Creation's Katmandu (VNKT)

Picked up the Balearic Islands. Very nice for VFR

Is it normal though if I climb to about 4000 it gets a bit blurry? Looks great low down

I love LOWI, make sure to get the latest version that fixes OOM errors.
