January 30, 201313 yr How can I load previously saved flight plans? For instance, I setup my FMC, RTE is fully populated, I hit save, CO route gets auto populated (KBOSKJFK) and the plan is saved. Next time, don't I just enter the same value into KBOSKJFK? When I do that, it says invalid entry. Mehmet Yatan
January 30, 201313 yr Try putting a 001 at the end. Type KBOSKJFK001. PMDG flightplans usually have 001 added to the name of the file. Matheus Mafra

That will take you to the destination where all your PMDG Flightplans are stored. FYI The Flightplans path are 'Main FSX folder>PMDG>Flightplans' They should be in a rte or rt2 format I think.
January 30, 201313 yr Commercial Member type the name into the scratch pad say EDDFLGBL01 and press the save button then confirm press Exec button. Find in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\PMDG\FLIGHTPLANS\NGX Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
January 30, 201313 yr Commercial Member You can call pmdg plans anything (nearly), not sure why 001 helped. Steve Waite: Engineer at codelegend.com
January 30, 201313 yr Author When I save them, they are saved as KBOSKJFK. For some reason, the file is name KBOSKJFK001.rte. So when loading, I need to use KBOSKJFK001. Mehmet Yatan
January 30, 201313 yr Just go to routes, click on co route without adding any name first, it then shows you a list of all saved routes. To save you hunting for the route you want, just start to type the route name and the listed routes will filter as you type, so type kb and the list only shows routes starting with kb. Very handy. I save routes as kboskjfk1231 meaning rw12 at bos and rw 31 at JFK. Sometimes I put an x for a route without runway, not sure why u need the 001 though? -Iain Watson-
January 30, 201313 yr Commercial Member The reason it appends a number at the end - in the format ###, sequentially - is so that you don't overwrite your previously saved routes. In the real world, there may be several viable routes between two destinations. One is the most efficient, and the others may be for weather, or metering. Check out the links in my signature (particularly the second one) to get an idea of what I'm talking about. Kyle Rodgers

January 30, 201313 yr when making a flight plan using the built in FMC in the pmdg 737 and saving it, does it also save settings like the gross weight, fuel, payload, cost index, performance, engine, etc as well? January 30, 201313 yr I mean the page with the co-route button, it´s RTE page 1 right? Press on co-route and it shows all saved routes, then you can filter them as I meantioned above, a good wee trick, not sure if everyone knows it. -Iain Watson-
January 30, 201313 yr Author Oh I didn't know you could press that button without typing anything on it. Mehmet Yatan
