Im all out of B777 YouTube clips and DVDs, watched countless hours of footage, now im lost ... I need to get stuck into the real deal, any more suggestions whilst we wait ?

 

As for the seriously hurry up bit, I would rather wait and have a solid product than find anoying quirks in need of loads of patches.

I know, I was hoping for a Nov/December release so I can learn the 777 and book time in a 777 simulator in Miami for February and get out of the cold. Now It looks like a summer trip to Miami (unless they release the 777 in the Fall of 2013.

I think it is just a matter of waiting and when they are ready am sure it will be great :rolleyes:

If anyone's interested I can highly recommend the World Air Routes Air Canada Polar Ops DVD. Very in depth and a great watch. Good demonstration of B777 systems, CPDLC, EFB and Flight planning / dispatch.

Start studying for your PPL, then your CFI, and eventually get hired on to an airline.

By the time you move up the ranks and get the left seat in a real 777, I'm pretty sure PMDG will have released it by then.

Got my PPL in 1996, should have headed towards the bigger stuff but decided to take the route of ground crew. Been a Ramp rat, aircraft refueller and now after 21 years am ground handling manager at Manston Airport UK. (EGMH)

Haha, it's annoying but the wait will be worth it. I think I've watched a Just Planes 777 DVD every night these days.. I just wish they were more open and sharing before release like the NGX. Only real news I see is a release!

 

Go study for it, today I'm looking at the complete Hydrualic system. Such a smart aircraft it's unreal!

I wonder if the release will happen at FANCON 2013 in May ????

I also suggest World Air Route's Air Canada Toronto-Sydney flight. I own the Polar Route and the Toronto-Sydney, and Toronto-Sydney is by far my favorrite.
