So, since August 7th, 2012 it was announced that the a/c manuals are available and that we should buy them for $389.00 ( or better say $400.00) so we can learn to fly this a/c. Wow, what a price, eh? Are we also going to be offered a check-ride and graded by the FAA? jejeje

So, shouldn't this a/c be out by now? I mean...if the manuals have been offered for such a looong time, I was hoping the a/c itself would be complete and out by now. Talk to me!

I use those manuals for flying the PSS 777 in FS9 ...

What happened to AVSIM

Them manuals are sooooooo long, and that's why they have to release them so far in advance so that we know every single last system in massive unnecessary detail by the time in comes out

As if there's a need for another complaint about PMDG release dates?

True. . . . There is no need for either.

I like how the displays of the B777 can be configured in so many different ways. Hopefully PMDG will model this flexibility accurately but practically.

I will probably buy some of the books like the QRH, since that would be hard to use on a Nook.

With PMDG, the manuals always come out long before the product. It gives you plenty of time to study and prepare for the 777.

But really, no one should complain about how long it takes for PMDG to release its 777, knowing how much work and detail it will have, and how they are fanatics about perfection.

What we love about PMDG is also what we hate. We love the mind blowing quality of the simulations, but we hate how long it takes to release one :t0152: <----PMDG RELEASE THE 777 OR ELSE!

Once this PMDG 777 is released, we all know that it will be mind blowing. Look at the few bugs that the Captain Sim 777 has now, and everyone wants to persecute him, even though I'm sure he will get most of them worked out before it is released as a box product. Is this what you want from PMDG also?

On the other hand, rather than focus on when the 777 will be ready, you should be learning every detail of the NGX and still finding plenty of enjoyment in it.

Now that FS2Crew has released the Emergency package, it opens a whole new area of learning on the NGX. Also Angle of Attack has a ton of information on the NGX now. It is well worth looking into.

This is pure speculation, but what I think has happened is the 777 got delayed at some point after they released the printed manuals. I believe this also caused the reshuffling of the DC-6 project into the back burner, as Mr Randazzo previously mentioned the DC-6 was scheduled to be released before the 777, now they intend to release the DC-6 some time after the release of the 777.

SImcity and (hopefully) the Majestic Q400 will keep me occupied for the next couple of weeks.

You have your CS777, what's the need for any half assed quality PMDG?

Good grief,

Is there something in the water in here, or some kind of airborn nasty and impatient virus? Sheech, take it easy on yourselves will you? You guys are going to give tubeliner jocks a bad name!

Complaints from here are arriving faster than last Christmas overdue credit card bills!

Kind regards,

The complaints about PMDG not releasing products when some people want is old and tired. I wasn't angry, just pointing out to all the CS fans that have flooded in here the past few days should be happy with their 777.
