March 12, 201313 yr Yes, they began to have server problems on Friday, and it continued through yesterday. Last night the forums were still active, but they are also down this morning. I don't know if the problems are related, but I suspect so, and I hope that they get it fixed soon. Bob
March 12, 201313 yr Have been following developments myself ... this am got a bad gateway error for FSE, so that's actually an improvement over timing out - looks like something is happening on the server. The TeamSpeak server is back up - I think it uses the same server as FSE so definately improving. Having said that the forum has gone. This was a distinct service so not related to FSE server problems and probably therefore just a coincidence. Regards, Sim. Paul Davies.
March 12, 201313 yr Thanks... I will stay posted on here for updates, but I have never used the FSE TeamSpeak, so this is my only mechanism to stay in touch until their main forum is back up. What is the address for the FSE TeamSpeak server in case the other forum continues to be out? Thanks again.. Bob
March 12, 201313 yr Sorry Bob - don't know, though in any case, you require a key issued by an admin via .... wait for it ... a pm in the forum. Sim. Paul Davies.
March 12, 201313 yr FSEconomy itself is indeed back up after the hardware failure on the host. You should expect: No bank interest earnings, as while down, FSE does not process them. On the flipside, no FBO supply use, as while down FSE does not process supply use either. Job expiration - jobs (green & black) expire using the real-world calendar, so some very well may have expired during the outage. Your 30/48 counter will likely be zero'ed out as well, as that's real-world calendar based too. The forums are now down due to the expiration of their domain name registration, which was mistakenly set to not auto-renew. Bad timing for that to happen! They're working on getting that squared away, but the forums may be down for another day or two while they get it all sorted. -Greg
March 12, 201313 yr Well that explains why I haven't been able to access the forums, at least the main site is up and running again.
