Mousewheel will only work if the programmer has provided the means to do so in their mouse callback code.

What airplane do you have them in - and if it is Carenado, do you have Instrument Reflections turned off?

 

To the OP, you still need to "point to it.."

They work now.

I was not putting the mouse over the knob.
