It took me almost 10 MINUTES just to get this thead posted, that's how laggy the page is lately, why the heck it takes so long to open the other threads? it use to not be like that, if something it's not broken why fix it? GEESH

They're fixing some technical issues just be patient. <br /><br />There's a thread about it in the Hangar Chat forum.

I'm just guessing... so don't quote me on this... but I think it has to do with 'some java code in some areas that cause the number of database tables to be queried unnecessarily'.

Doesn't AVSIM have people in charge of maintaining the forums that know what they are doing? Seems like Tom is not the best person to be messing around with the forum software. Just saying...

Well seeing as Captain Spoon has only made 10 posts on here (when I wrote this). He is obviously a member that setup a second registration to vent and hide behind his other membership name.

 

If you got something to say then say it on your account, don't open a new account to say it.

Just goes to show that while the majority of us, I hope, read Tom's global post to the Community yesterday, and thus were aware of these issues that were quite clearly out of Tom's hands or Avism's hands for that matter, somebody missed the boat. Amazing! Why bother using this site if a global notice to the Community was virtually staring us in the face?

It is just suspicous that your first few posts on AVSIM would be to go after Tom is all. Yes I did have 10 first posts once and I treated Tom like I was a guest in his house. I still treat Tom and his team with that respect today as I always have.
