I started at Unalakleet - this is one lonely place.

 

 

 

 

On my way to Besboro, an even more lonely place. There is some kind of award or achievement for flying inverted for an hour or 50 hours, or something. Just working my way slowly there! :lol:

Another really nice one Steve. 

I have landed here before, there is a nice peninsula on the NE corner for landing.  This was the location for a "Flying Wild Alaska" episode where daughter Ariel went to collect seagull eggs.  I wish Discovery Channel had continued to follow ERA and its family through future operations.

When I was scouting the location I landed on that Peninsula and hiked up to the top of the peak. Nice view all around from up there.

Nice, I would not have really thought to do that, I got to think more outside the box.

Now I will have to make a return trip and give that a try.

What ya know! There it is. And back to the mainland. The 3rd shot shows that peninsula that you can land on.

I took off from Unalakleet, heading first for Shaktoolik.
