March 24, 201313 yr Looks like Steve (Air1) found the end of the road in Hawaii. Thanks for another aerocache Steve. Enjoy. Thank you. Rick $Silver Donor EAA 1317610 I7-7700K @ 4.5ghz, MSI Z270 Gaming MB, 32gb 3200, Geforce RTX2080 Super O/C, 28" Samsung 4k Monitor, Various SSD, HD, and peripherals
March 24, 201313 yr Nice one, and beautiful coastline. Reminds me of that time several months ago I went searching for a lost kayaker... I had to take the ALoha Icon out for this one for old times sake. Thanks Steve! Don B
March 24, 201313 yr Another enjoyable destination from Air 1 ! Had to swoop in REAL low for this one.
March 24, 201313 yr  Yikes, Tom, you are a brave man. Guess I'll have to try landing there myself! Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
March 26, 201313 yr Right, well after hugging the coast and following the road to its end, I decided to turn inland and visit the Na'Pali Forest Reserve. This kind of scenery always gives me a thrill. In previous versions of FS, I dreamt of reproducing (and visiting) similar formations throughout the world - the various cirques on the Île de la Réunion, the tepuis of Venezuela, the Sierra Madre Occidental in México... But, it had never before been possible to obtain such high definition, sharply defined, altitude mesh. Look at those lovely ridges! I tell you, for people like me, Flight is a scenery designer's paradise... if only we could design for it! At the end of my flight, I put the Icon down at the Nawiliwili Harbor with all the rich people's yachts. Best regards. Luis Hot, humid Caribbean paradise!
March 26, 201313 yr Well, I got it on the fly also. Then I went around and landed on the beach and walked up to the road. And back to Princeville airport. This is one of my most favorite places in the world. We used to have a time share not far from here and used to spend a lot of time at this beach and hiking the trails. There are also several other really beautiful beaches along this road. Steve
March 26, 201313 yr We used to have a time share not far from here and used to spend a lot of time at this beach and hiking the trails. Then you crossed the one lane bridge coming up from Lihue? I've seen pictures of it, but not 100% sure where it is, or if it's modeled as such in Flight. If it is modeled in Flight, it would be a good AotD. So long as people have to land on the bridge, that is! B)
March 26, 201313 yr I think Steve's old time share would make a great AotEOD (Aerocache of the Every Other Day) if it happened to be modeled. Maybe at least where it was. Blue skies & tailwinds, -Alan
