After seeing all those great 747 (cargo) movies of Edward Cox on Youtube I decided to change aircraft type to the 747 ! 

I already owned a copy of the PMDG 747 passenger and just bought the Freighter expansion. I will make some great flights with this one! 

 

Now just a -200/300 version and we will rock the skies !

The best thing about the Kalitta 742F is it's distinctive cockpit config......in fact what I love about the Boeing 742/3 is that it has more varied cockpit configs than any other aircraft on the planet! :Nerd:

Love the ground vehicles and open nose!

747 is the best but yes, really need the <400 series badly.

I really love the classic '47 cockpits. I wish somebody did a nice one for FS (I know there's CLS, but I'd like to see something nicer).

The ground service equipment is part PMDG en part AES. For instance the High loader at the nose and the maindeck are PMDG, but the airstairs and the fueltruck are AES from Aerosoft. 

To bad exactually that AES doesn't support those parts for Cargo planes, but maybe something for a future release.

 

My preference is also the old classic cockpit.It has something nostalgic about it.

I do have the Ready for Pushback lying somewhere, so I will be installing that one shortly and study to be pilot and flight engineer at the same time

I do hope that some day a good and realistic B742/3 panel will be available with integrated INS etc etc. But we have to start somewhere.
