Fantastic! Hope the textures look good without this much color editing.

It has to be said, IMO it blows GEX/UTX out of the water!

It's not hard to blow out GEX Europe, IMO. :)<br />FTX Global is a completely different league.

Wish they'd stop covering everything with that damned bloom effect

Nice job it seems from Orbx.

Almost certainly too late for me, though. I am not sure anything could get me to invest more money in FSX anymore at this point.

But if anything could, it might be something like this.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Not to late for me! As a RL pilot , that's forced into no more real world piloting due to medical, it's this kind of product that keeps the dream alive. Competing sims will also have a place, but are far short on content at this point. Nice to have Orbx around!!!

From JV himself

"This is pure FTX Global; no other addons, no mesh, no LC - just the FTXG textures and nothing else."

Definately on my must buy list.

Oh Larry... that really saddens me to hear this.

I don't know what else to say...

Ya, I hear you. Problem is, it has been caught before, and addons have been added into way to many preview pictures to make them seem better than they actually are. I don't really trust anything other than user videos and photos now from Orbx....they just have and still do way way too much to their previews to make them look like they do.

It looks great though, and honestly I am really thinking about ditching all these odds and ends scenery addons for something simple and a 1 addon solution. To me though, their PR is just kinda up and down, and I don't trust a lot of what they promise. ie. England.

Th glider is being used for a better FOV (which of course will yield 30 fps or better), however it would be nice to see or get feedback on complex aircraft usage as well.  Looks pretty good, are they planning on covering the Caribbean regions, as I am not too impressed by GEX's attempt to re-create this region (still better than FSX's though).

Saddens me too. Even my wife, since she feels that flying was a special part of our life. I'm 62 now, and at least had some good years to enjoy it.
