Opus Live Camera or EzDok?

Featured Replies

Once I got Opus set up it been great. Better then EZdok by a little maybe, certainly easier.

I think it would be nice if the camera saving functionality could be cleaned up a little, I would explain further but I dot really know how to say what I mean.

I have both EZDOK and Opus and haven't once even given a look at setting up cameras in Opus.  I guess I have the "if it ain't broke don't fix it mentality".  I've heard others say once they've used Opus cameras, EZDOK got shelved because it was less user friendly.  I have Opus solely for weather and still love every minute of it.

Opus. Accelerometer data from a real 737 makes it more realistic than Ezydok, which I think is over exaggerated.

I think both are good for flying, maybe opus is a little bit better for that but ezdok is leaps and bounds better for making videos in my opinion.

Opus for sure. The effects are better. However setting up the camera in Opus sucks. Ezdok was way easier with the keyboard or even the mouse. Click on the arrows is cumbersome IMHO

EZDOK all the way.  I've tried many different times to get my cameras set up in OPUS...I finally gave up after loading every flight I had to reset all my cameras because they were no longer memorized with my particular plane.  With EZDOK it automatically sets the cameras to the plane type.  You do it once and forget it.

I set up the NGX in 5 mins, with wing views as well. I only did it once Phillip, and forgot it. I find setting up Opus camera views more precise, and just pressing arrows up and down very easy.

Opus every time. So easy to set up the cameras, nice smooth movement, excellent effects, and lots more to come once they've finished with the weather engine (if they ever do !)

I think some of the posters above are talking about earlier versions of Opus. It's moved on a long way. And the support is superb.
