A bit more MCE

Featured Replies

Most pilots on here are already aware of how good MCE is.

Here is a short ( for me  ) film with a few aircraft and "moments" with the 1st officer.

Remember MCE is using hardly any of FSX VAS, so you can run all your REX etc. add ons without fear.

Oh and its also multi threaded, so you may chat with ATC, tell Jean Claude to throw a switch and continue to read the checklists, all at once B)

Dave, excellent video as always, every time I watch one of your videos I learn a few new things you can do with this program.

Thanks Will.

MCE has so many opportunities to enhance the flight sim, I haven't enough time to explore it all.

There are possibilities to add wav files into Vox Scripts to have conversations with the cabin crew, for example.

Interesting video, thanks for posting it. One of the pleasures of simulated flight is the absence of ATC! On the other hand, it can be lonely so...maybe MCE or FS Crew?

I run lots of freeware planes - DC4, DC6, Project Airbuses; and payware - DA Fokker 70/100, MAAM DC3, Flight One Pilatus, Quest Kodiak, i-Fly 737s. Just lately, I bought the BlackBox A319/20/21 series, and the PMDG MD-11.

Can any aircraft be set up to use MCE?

Best regards

MCE is the only voice add on for the PMDG MD11, your first officer will even change the MCP settings, transponder code, etc. I know it works well with default aircraft and lots of freeware birds as well, all in the one single program. Just download and install the program, it has full functionality for a limited time and give it a go, just remember to run the App Wizard as soon as you install it and away you go.

Its a must have, they have just completed DC9 and Q400 1-2 months away

are the voices supplied default?

ZORAN

It comes with 2 or 3 voices, plus you can download another 3 or 4 from their website f you wish. I know some people are using high quality payware ones as well, it is all part of the versatility of it, basically make of it what you wish it to be.

2 recorded FO voice packs ship with the Demo package.

3 others need to be downloaded and installed separately from these links

Unzip and run "InstallVoice" for each voice pack.

All the voices can be used with the Demo too.

These recorded voices provide better quality, and they are quite massive.

MCE still supports TTS voices. If you have some installed, you could assign them to any crew member.

Thanks WR269, zoran. FS++.

Seems like I can't go wrong with some test flights.
