May 7, 201313 yr Author Hi guys and thanks for feedback. For some reason I have sound issues with VLC. It always sounds like it's distirted - like its been recorded above tolerance levels. Interesting about Quicktime. May 7, 201313 yr Although it should be set as defualt, werth checking. Go into tools > effects and filters > audio effects > graphic equalizer. On mine nothing is check, all greyed out, but if i play with it i can make it sound awefull. Regards Luke M
May 7, 201313 yr VLC MPC-HC FFMPEG I assume in general you are referring to AVC/AAC in MP4. If you have sound problems might check on if you are using directSound or WASAPI and what output/drivers (realtek maybe?). scott s. .
