PHNL to KLAX Kalitta B742

Recommended Posts

I tested the sceneries with Alphasearcher (both by FSDT) and found LAX riddled with DXT3's without alphas....HNL faired better but still had them.

After adding the alphas KLAX is like a completely different scenery!.....fast loading and no stutters.

It's a pity developers cannot seem to get this right from the off.

Now to try and find the time to video this very enjoyable flight.

Really great clouds and sky in that series, Ed!  Hawaii to LA is a nice short leg length in the 742...

Very nice.

Could you share how you get three different camera angles of the same shot?

The fourth and fifth are the same timing....the sixth is slight later if you check the gear compression.

I am using FSRecorder for tower camera angles. The sim is simply paused on replay (again by FSRecorder) and then the tower position moved for different shots.(taken with FSscreen)

That 2nd shot takes the cake as my favorite here.   All of those shots, if you were to show them to someone who is not in the know about flight sim, they would think they are real.

Love the 742, but shame on you Ed. Not one panel shot!
