May 15, 201313 yr What needs to be done (if someone actually cares), is make a single survey, like hosted by google or something, and post links to said survey at all the flight sim sites... of course there'd be some doubling up but you could average out the results and that would tell us a better estimate of how many XP users there are on forums etc... How about just posting the link to the community wide survey here http://www.esurveyspro.com/Survey.aspx?id=89591e9a-b713-40af-8b54-23838fd6391c It is community wide and open to anyone on the net after all. Why make it more complicated? Have your friends post it anywhere they want.

May 15, 201313 yr Tom, did you see my post in the survey forum? It seems the survey is not locking people out after they take the poll ,from taking it again. This could skew the results It'll let you do another if you copy-paste the url into another browser, or delete all browser cookies. Most won't bother doing it twice (or more), but there's no way to lock out those who want to skew the results. The survey isn't directly linked to avsim's own membership database, it doesn't require you to enter and ID or password, and they say responses are anonymous, so some skewing will definitely be possible.

We remove duplicate votes. No issue here.
