Thanks guys, appreciated.

Cool. What are you using for the ground textures? They look good.

Thanks, it's from my photoreal Afghanistan scenery at 50 cm per pixel. The FSX detail.bmp is a replacement which gives it the rocky/gravel look

Ain't that the APC from Crysis?

Might be, I have some mesh files from Google/Trimble that they allow free use of, unfortunately many of their uploads look like they are from questionable sources, so it is possible. I got it into 3DSmax, cleaned up the model for FSX use, remapped it and added the soldier and some other odds and ends to get it drivable in FS.

This is what the ESP/prepar3d is geared towards. Fsx was only marketed as flight but it can do so much more. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to know, will be getting it if they ever change the licensing. I have always used FS as a world simulator. i actually sailed around all the Hawaiian islands once, it was pretty cool. I really miss the first person walk mode they had in Flight.

The licensing is there right now, if your a student (which I am) the academic works perfect for my major. Otherwise if you have a real world certificate you can use the pro version. If you really want to know everything about the licensing, search in the prepa3d forums. Tons of reading to do.
