Heavy stutter fsx. CPU failure imminent?

Featured Replies

No kidding burt, now its on to sort out the fsinn issue. It never stops with fsx. Does it?

I actually disable FSCopilot by renaming the dll in the Modules folder, unless I'm flying multiplayer,

because I find it causes stutters, so your experience is not totally unique, after all.

I'll take a look at the program at the weekend and see if I can resolve the issue. If not I guess it's back to sq4. Sigh. Fsx. It will drive you crazy.

FSInn it's better becouse of AI Taffic, but must be installed and configured very carefully using vatsim or apollo 3 sticky. Don't use CPU optimization option, during install just click next and ok.

For FSInn to stop with FSX - with fsx runing, in fsx menu go to Addons/  FSCopilot /  Settings/  Tuner  and click to toggle - Enabled/Disabled.  Leave it disabled

In DLL.XML FSCopilot must be the last entry, always. Just check this after installing new addons, and move it there. It works for years for me without problems.

Zeljko, thanks for that. I haven't used fsinn that much and I had no idea that setting was there. Disabling the multicore setting returned all cores to full power. Problem solved

Thanks again everyone. I'm big enough to know I don't know it all, and I love that. It's always good to learn something new.

And got the little S.O.B! I've just spent the last hour or so doing as Steve mentioned (hey Steve btw, long time since we've spoken eh!) and after removing my dll.xml file, the stutters ceased and everything. Returned to normal in the cores with 2,3 & 4 all working properly.

So I systematically disabled everything in the XML and then switch them back on two by two. The culprit is fs copilot. It's the one that's been forcing everything onto the last two cores. Disabling it brought everything back in line.

I've no idea why it was doing that but I'm glad its gone. Of course ow I have to find out how to make sqauwkbox work over my network.

Thanks for the help guys.

Best wishes,

Jess B

FSCopilot ended up being the culprit of my CTDs, after finding that out about a month after they randomly began.  I uninstalled it and all is well.

Hey Simmer Friends,

i just wanted to ask if there already exists a solution for the "Stutter" Problem with FSCopilot.

I installed FSCopilot and FSInn days ago (both on the FSX PC and the Netbook) and now i also have the Problem Jessica described - i am running FSX on a Multi Monitor Setup in Fullscreen Mode and FSINN is running on a Network PC.

Even when flying offline the stuttering occurs - when in deinstall FSCopilot and FSInn on the FSX PC there are no stutter issues any more.

Greets,
