July 5, 201312 yr Author I don't think they seem to realise making a helicopter hovering over you crash isn't the brightest idea... Rónán O Cadhain.
July 5, 201312 yr I don't think they seem to realise making a helicopter hovering over you crash isn't the brightest idea... Yeah, but he he made it out ok I presume?
July 5, 201312 yr Isn't it ironic that a $2 laser pointer could render ineffective a $20million war machine? "Society has become so fake that the truth actually bothers people".
July 5, 201312 yr I've been lit up by just ONE of those damn things before and it's a nightmare if it catches your eye. Held in a pattern for 10 minutes waiting to get my vision back 100%. Elijah HoytCFI, CFII, CMEL, CSEL, CSES, IFR
July 5, 201312 yr Moderator I don't think they seem to realise making a helicopter hovering over you crash isn't the brightest idea... Yeah, kind of like some moron in my neighborhood who killed himself last night... ...when at least one of the bullets from his Uzi fired up into the air came back home. :Silly: Some of my friends think I'm being paranoid because I spend the 4th of July in my basement all night! July 6, 201312 yr I am sure those pilots were equipped with high tech helmets with a visor to protect from those lasers. Probably not in any danger at all. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me
July 6, 201312 yr I saw that copter all emblazoned with the lasers, and couldn't tell if it was done on purpose or not. I knew about the danger to pilots, but I thought there was no way it was not intentional, it looked like it was planned. I stand corrected, there are a lot of fools out there. A.J. Domingo
July 6, 201312 yr In the top most picture that Ro posted no one in the crowd noticed the second helicopter off in the distance that was probably lighting them up with their targeting laser! @Fr. Bill. A perfect example of 'friendly fire' turning out for the better. At least no innocent person was harmed. I shot an arrow into the air, where in came down I know not, . . . . . . . . but I do suddenly have a splitting headache. Mel
