LatinVFR KMIA V.2 is out

Featured Replies

For what it's worth, I have numerous airports from FSDT, Fly Tampa, Taxi2Gate, Flightbeam and LatinVFR.  I use all the airports purchased except for the LatinVFR products.  Their airports just don't perform well for me, and I concluded it's not a computer issue.

I agree, LatinVFR's KMIA V2 performs better then V1 did but it's still awful and I just decided to cut my loses and use a Ray Smith AFCAD.

Thats interesting, Miami is the last of my world wide hubs for the T777 but never bought it because its never been on sale.

I may have to re think the purchase due to the advice given here. I cant stand heavy airports! I love FSDT stuff, never a problem

Yeah I have to say I bought this airport, without reading the comments here first. The performance is lacking.

I honestly liked the default KMIA better.

I have both LatinVFR KMIA v.2 and Drzewiecki Design "Miami City 2012" scenery running together and there is a significant FPS hit with both running at the same time.  But after further testing, I found that the LatinVFR KMIA v.2 hit was negligible and it was the Drzewiecki scenery that had the greater impact.

I will say that LatinVFR KMIA covers not only the airport but the scenery area surrounding it, making it a must-have, if you fly into and out of KMIA.  The airport and scenery blows away the default scenery, without a doubt.

My only negative with Drzewiecki's scenery, aside from the FPS hit, is the popping up of the HUGE number of autogen buildings, which is impressive when flying into KMIA from the East, over Miami Beach and downtown Miami.  The worst issue for me is the placement of autogen trees, where they show up all over the place (in lakes, roadways, buildings, etc...).

Resizing the textures helped me a lot and I think if you are using BP=0, you really need to on a <1.5GB GPU. I always resize the textures of any airport that uses anything above 1024x1024.

Hi

So I tested kmia v2 with default trike and had no stutters on take off but as soon as I use my pmdg 777 or leveld 767 I get stutter only on take off looking out the window on ground scenery.

Textures are set at 1024
