July 26, 201312 yr Yap, already uploaded 99 AUD Base Pack(that will lauches Saturday, then + 99AUD with LC (Later, planned Aug. ou Sep. That's not very expensive for the whole world ATP MEL,CFI,CFII,MEI. Type Ratings B-737, ERJ-190,ERJ-170
July 27, 201312 yr That's not very expensive for the whole world No it's not but sadly for people like myself that is still a lot of money, a days wages in my line of work (farming), and that's before tax lol. Right now a new computer is on my mind which with my quarterly bonus around the corner may be doable but even that is going to be cheap compared to what I know most people here invest in their machines.
July 27, 201312 yr I think yes, it's an excellent idea to be sensitive to the realities for most of us now. $99 is a lot of money, but feasible. $300 is tough to consider in one go. Spread out over time, with choice of what you want to get when, it's eminently reasonable and fair. And in any event it's all incredible value considering the amount of detailed work done. It's just going to be more enjoyable and less stressful in increments. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2
July 27, 201312 yr Yes So all we will have to do is disable or "uncheck" the night lighting in UTX? Can we leave the rest of the settings from UTX on (At least for North America, the only region I have.). i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
July 27, 201312 yr That's not very expensive for the whole world Just wonder what's the percentage of folks who actually fly the whole world? As for me, I'm only interested in North America, Europe, the Caribbean & the northern half of Venezuela so spending $99 on new lights and possibly better textures then GEX doesn't make much sense to me. System: Rysen 7-9700X, MSI Pro X870-P WiFi AM5 Motherboard, Team T-Force Delta 64 GB DDR5 6000 Mhz, Corsair RM1000x80 PLUS Gold, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4070 Super Windforce 12GB OC, NVIDIA Drivers 610.47, 2TB WD Blue SN580 NVMe m.2 SSD for Windows 11 Home, 2TB WD Black SN850X NVMe m2 SSD for MSFS & Steam, LG 27GX700A-B 280 Hz OLED 27" 2560x1440 280Hz Monitor, Thrustmaster Airbus flight stick, Logitech M510 wireless Mouse.
July 27, 201312 yr Nope, you've still got to buy multiple regions if you want to get all the landclass which is what will probably make the biggest difference to the sim since the default landclass quite bluntly sucks compared to what we find in the real world out our windows. As a base this seems more like REX. Yes, you will probably have to add OpenLC to it to get the most out of it (I suppose you meant OpenLC when you said 'multiple regions') but of course the very same goes for GEX, which ALSO needs additional landclass. If you like the entire globe to get new textures, FTXG is by far the cheapest option. Can we leave the rest of the settings from UTX on (At least for North America, the only region I have.). Yes. You only have to decide which night lighting system you want to use, the one from UTX or FTXG.
