Ok I am biased because I travelled more then once with a container ship over the ocean in RL, but his work is really cool.

Last week I was flying with the aerosoft twin otter, over the channel at 3500 ft, just to explore the ai ship traffic Henrik packages adds to the FSX world!

Amazing!

PS: right now he is working on more routes and ship....

Yep. These packages are super and they are so easy to install. Great freeware.

Are they affecting FPS?

Current system: ASUS PRIME Z690-P D4, Intel 12900k, 32GB RAM @ 3600mhz, Zotac RTX 3090 Trinity, M2 SSD, Oculus Quest 2.

Not that much I would notice it. They follow real world routes and schedules, so you glimpse a ship only now and then.

I have a low end system, installed some of these and notice no (if any little) FPS hit. It does add another level of realism depending upon where and how you fly. I think they are great and worth a try. I too have been fortunate to have travelled in RL on a freighter (around the world) and his ships/routes are pretty accurate.

No fps hit noticed on my side....

Cool then. :)
Only drawback for me is that I'm flying mostly above Mediterranean Sea, and this package doesn't cover it. I must add my own routes with the tool mentioned in the manual, and to be honest I don't think it is worth the time, especially because I will see a boat every now and then from FL350.

Anyway, does anybody know what routes cover default traffic file for ships & ferries? I'm asking for Europe.

Excellent.
I guess I can wait a little longer and skip the route creation proccess. :P

Got them already, but thanks for the HU.

The best thing about this package is the ability to place these ships wherever you want. These ships work best sitting under final approaches eg Singapore, Hong Kong. Adding some nice things to see as you land.
