August 15, 201312 yr You rarely see PMDG products discounted - probably even less likely for a brand new release. We did see a discount when the NGX was released... I think it was something like US$10 off the current price? David Zhong New video every Thursday: Aircraft Lighting - Boeing 777
August 15, 201312 yr Which reminds me - do you take Diners? I got a company card that has some neat incentives and we are allowed to use them for private purchases (provided we refund the price to CC account of course) Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover according to their site. August 15, 201312 yr Yes - but maybe there is a different way of paying that would work with Diners. Maybe Paypal, or maybe they could just add it - I don't know. --Peter Fabian
August 16, 201312 yr We did see a discount when the NGX was released... I think it was something like US$10 off the current price? I don't know about that one. What I noticed was a 20% off PMDG sale at Aerosoft some time ago, limited to one particular weekend. The NGX was included in the discounts offered. But that looked like an exception to the rule to me. What happened to AVSIM
August 21, 201312 yr In today's market and economy, I realize that all of us are trying to save their hard earned dollars. However, when it comes to PMDG products, whether it is the NGX or other aircraft that they have produced,... I believe that there pricing as been spot on. I rarely pipe up on these forums but when us FSX users find a developer, like PMDG we better support them 100%. This company is setting the standard for the rest of all FSX flight developers. AND WE are benefiting from that. just look at the FSX enviroment compared to 4 years ago. So, tell all your friends buy from PMDG directly... I would also mention a very select few other fsx developers that I would suggest buying directly but that might be against the rules, but I am sure we all know who they are.... So yes, I will give up my favorite beer for the month, spend less money at the movie theater, and give up a few extra dollars to buy the 777 directly from their site. This hobby can be expensive, but when I calculate hours spent flying PMDG products its pennies on the hour.... That's entertainment We all can afford. John Nelson Retired UPS
