September 1, 201312 yr I'm looking for a smaller biz jet that is not the Cessna Citation X from Eaglesoft. I have had this but don't like the audio nor the flight model so haven't reinstalled it into my new build. Thanks in advance for your expressed thoughts ;o) Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. September 1, 201312 yr Mmm, maybe the Citation Mustang from Flight1. Or you could pretend to fly the biz version when getting the Feelthere ERJ. Both are very complete but might show a bit of age here and there. You could also use the BBJ version of the iFly 737 or once again pretend to fly the BBJ with the NGX.
September 1, 201312 yr Flight 1 Cessna 510 Mustang. A little tough on frames, but with some adjustments to your settings in FSX, it's doable. Beautiful aircraft.
September 1, 201312 yr Author Or you could pretend to fly the biz version when getting the Feelthere ERJ. I swore off, as a matter of principle, Feelthere with how they responded to several customers who were unhappy w/ the VC night lighting behavior in their ERJ V2 planes. September 1, 201312 yr Author Flight 1 Cessna 510 Mustang. A little tough on frames, but with some adjustments to your settings in FSX, it's doable. Beautiful aircraft. Thanks for that. I wonder how it compares to the Citation X I have. Have you tried the Citation X from Eaglesoft? It's a really impressive piece of work graphically and in other ways but as I say the audio package and handling just were show stoppers for me. I'm a little less interested in add-ons that have not been well optimized for performance (like your Q-400 has been). The Flight 1 Mustang is stronger in some areas than the Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0 (but sound is not one of those areas!); visually, the VC is far superior in the Mustang IMHO. But the frames are toughter in the Mustang compared to the Eaglesoft CX 2.0 (which I find very fair on frame rates). I'm surprised you didn't like the Citation X 2.0's Sound and FDE, for me they are two of it;s strongest areas! ...... I do love the CX 2.0 and overall I use it more than the Flight 1 Mustang, because of the frame rates. So for me, the CX 2.0 would be my fave BizJet and the Flight 1 Mustang, Number 2. PS.... I wish the 'Q400' was my baby, but alas I'm just a customer and fan.
September 1, 201312 yr I wrote up a little bit of all the biz like acft I know here (Just a day ago) http://forum.avsim.net/topic/417608-best-business-jet-for-fsx/ | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
September 3, 201312 yr Hi, from the available options, I think the Citation X V2 is the winner and a joy to fly.(I agree with Ryan, it is dated and IMHO needs a SP to address some issues) BTW I just read Lionheart is doing the Lear 23. It's jet-time! It's Lionheart! Based on their Quest Kodiak history, I'm sure it will be a true winner, and as their other planes it will support P3D, me thinks. Carenado is doing the EMB500 PHENOM 100, also for FSX/P3D More bussiness jets options, YES, please. Cheers. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
September 3, 201312 yr Yes I forgot about Bills LJ23... That should be great and hopefully a visual update from the xtreme series LJ's. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
September 3, 201312 yr Eaglesoft C1+ has a great FMS, same developer as the Milviz 737-200 one. Eaglesoft Raytheon 400A is a bit old now but avionics are immersive and from reviews I gather the FDE is spot on. Feelthere Phenom is ok but it is a lite jet as is the Lionheart Epic. Cessna Mustang is good and if you just want the speed and performance then the A2A Civ Mustang will offer you similar and is awesome to fly. Surprised you don't like the Citation X as it's the bizet I keep going back to again and again.
