A/P disconect at finals?

Featured Replies

Hi all,

I am disconecting the A/P and the A/T at about 1500 ft from runway but I hear this disconection sound which does not stop.

What is the problem?

In the tutorial the landing is an autoland but I want to handfly her during finals.

Thanks,

Christos

Its in the introduction  You need to hit the Z key twice, once to disconnect and one more to silence the alarm.  Mapping a joystick key is useful.

or you can right click the click spot for the to/ga

Double check the key commands under PMDG Setup on the CDU. There's a specific setting for AP Disconnect and AT disconnect a few pages in. I think it's CTRL SHIFT R and CTRL SHIFT Z or something like that by default.

And there has to be at least 1.5 sec between A/P disconnect button presses.

before every flight find the equipment menu in the CDU and on page #9 the top option needs to be enable for you to be able to stop the sound just by pressing the warning light...

Press the A/P disconnect button on the yoke twice. You can map a joystick button to do this.
