Req: Stobe light ground reflections visible from VC

Featured Replies

Dear Dev-Team,

would it be a big deal having the strobe light reflections on ground visible from inside the VC as i saw on the NGX ?

This isn't the NGX.

You do realize you're several times farther ahead of the wing in the 777, yes?

The OP has point.

I've been during night time take offs on the T7 flight deck and I'll tell you, no matter it's big, it's strobe lights are so powerful you can clearly see the light reflection from the deck if you look towards the wings... I would love to see this adjusted in the SP.

It's not so basic a situation that you can either categorically see it, or you can't, it is entirely dependent on the absorption of the material on the ground below the strobe.

Have you seen the T7 strobes at night?? Guess not..

With those on the wings the Boeing engineers definitely did an "overkill". Trust me, you'll see the reflection.

the day is comming that you do it again, sitting on a real 777 flightdeck but think: ...thank you, the frames are still high.

Hi,

...yes its me again, and yes i love you too

...just visited the T7`s product page again, let me quote the part which is fitting nicely here:

Exterior Lighting - 3D volumetric exterior lighting that lights up the FS scenery. You can even see the flash from the strobe lights when looking out the cockpit side windows. Improved over what was in the PMDG 737NGX.

...not that iam impatient,

and i think its priority isnt the highest, but may i kindly ask if this issue is worth finding its place in the PMDG 777 issue tracking thread, or do we have another typo here ?

I agree with JG, and as he points out, it's on their own product page.

I agree but only based on videos! The strobes in the videos are clearly reflected on the runway...
