October 16, 201312 yr Hi guys, Experience X FS2004 has been released a few days ago. I've always wanted something like this for FS9 but I'm reluctant to buy as I'm not sure how much the product will affect frames. Anyone tried it? http://secure.simmarket.com/beetle-print-experience-x-fs2004.phtml
October 16, 201312 yr fps worries in fs9...haven't heard that in a loooong time  Most people run fs9 with 60-200fps on most machines.
October 16, 201312 yr Commercial Member Experiencex for fs9 has several settings to tune performance. You can set the amount of lights in cities. You can set the distance of the lights on the roads. You can set the color of the lights. You can set the size of the lights. You can define more lights and less autogen to fly at night.Already started making adaptations fotoreais scenarios. Especially those that already comes with FS9. (Las Vegas, New York, etc.)Despite all the difficulties, we launched the product and we hope you enjoy. Gibaba
October 16, 201312 yr Commercial Member Does it work with Ultimate Terrain lights or instead of UT lights? Everything is possible. It is only necessary to make hotfix for third-party addons. Send us the link to purchase these addons Ultimate Terrain and UT Lights to make changes. Giba

Giba I think you answered my question. This product has evidently not been tested enough for me to purchase at this time.
October 16, 201312 yr Commercial Member I think you answered my question. This product has evidently not been tested enough for me to purchase at this time. No problem. But if you do not pass the links where to buy the addons for adaptation, we can not make the hotfix. Gibaba
October 16, 201312 yr I am a bit concerned that a FS9 developer has never heard of Ultimate Terrain. Nevertheless, the products can be purchased from Flight1 software: http://www.flight1.com/ Alaska/Canada: http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=utcan USA: http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=utusa Europe: http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=uteurope Graeme Butler

October 22, 201312 yr Commercial Member I have always used the free version from the Russian avsim site. Works with UT and covers the whole globe. Absouletly stunning. FPS? We are talking about FS9, I could run the worst coded scenery and still get 100FPS! Rob Prest

I'm running fs9 with an average of about 25 fps (with addons)! next time you upgrade your system, dya think you could send the old bits over this direction?
October 23, 201312 yr Man,I wish I had your system! I'm running fs9 with an average of about 25 fps (with addons)! next time you upgrade your system, dya think you could send the old bits over this direction? I'm with you. I can get "100 fps" whenever I am in a low density area and I'm looking straight up into a clear sky. Other than that, I too average 25-35 fps. Granted, I'm still using WinXP and: 3.07 gigahertz Intel Core i3 540 64 kilobyte primary memory cache 256 kilobyte secondary memory cache 4096 kilobyte tertiary memory cache 64-bit ready Multi-core (2 total) Hyper-threaded (4 total) and Board: ASUSTeK Computer INC. P7P55 LX Rev X.0x Serial Number: MT709AK16406382 Bus Clock: 133 megahertz BIOS: American Megatrends Inc. 0507 11/10/2009 and 3064 Megabytes Usable Installed Memory Slot 'DIMM0' has 2048 MB Slot 'DIMM1' is Empty Slot 'DIMM2' has 2048 MB Slot 'DIMM3' is Empty and ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series [Display adapter] Moral of the story: Some of us "po folk" have decent stuff and will never average what the elitists have. Don't ever assume that just because you have FS9.whatever, you'll be able to cruise around always averaging 60-100 fps .... especially under all conditions. We peons are getting tired of the cyber bullies kicking sand in our face. Rise up masses! At least I feel better now. Time for another nap!
October 23, 201312 yr Did you know: the clever forum admin have some fields you can fill in describing your PC, that appears under your profile, top left, as "My PC"? That way everybody can compare one on one each feature, and get apples and apples without listening to oranges! Mine is positively ancient now, and I claim it to be the perfect FS9 computer. (Save perhaps a gentle overclock of CPU - but I've never felt driven to this) I lock it at 30fps which suits all kinds of other things like FRAPS too. Crappy coding may well be run at 100fps on an i7, but it will still stutter and annoy in other ways. I do not tolerate such behaviour and simply biff anything that doesn't behave properly - happily there's enough other stuff that does behave.
October 23, 201312 yr Commercial Member I built and overclocked my I5 rig primarily for FSX, it just so happens I still use it for FS9 My old rig, a Core2Duo wolfdale running at 3.5 ghz 4 gig ram and win XP 32bit (still have it running with fs9 for testing) also runs FS9 maxed at 100fps but I lock it at 30FPS. I couldn't give away the core2 rig, it would be incredibly cheap to build now. Just to make it clear, I wasn't trying to rub it in anyone's faces when I was talking about my I5, in fact it is not even that special when you look at some rigs on the FSX forum. Wingz, I'm not sure what you mean about stutters etc within FS9 on an I5 or I7 that has been clocked and FS9 properly configured and maxed out. I can assure I can throw anything at it within FS9 and it remains smooth as silk. Have you actually tried running FS9 on a fast rig? Rob Prest
