November 6, 201312 yr Hej Captains, This afternoon after flying from EGLL to SPIM taking me just over 12 hours and 30 minutes I heard a very odd noise on landing. After taxing off the runway and coming to a stand still expecting something to pop up on the display I looked at 'failed items' and there it was, /Nose Tire Balance' - no biggie and very well simulated. I have been mainly flying British Airways (G-ZZZC) for the last few months and with 182 hours and 58 minutes on that one aircraft I guess I will be seeing some more service based failures in the future... I can't wait! ) Very well done PMDG Fly Safe Kimberly Richmond-Jones

November 6, 201312 yr I've used the option to speed up the rate of service based failures. Adds more excitement when something goes wrong. Tony Simpson FLYING FROM EGKK, The worlds busiest single runway Airport.

You might want to turn back, your fuselage may lose cabin pressure since the fuselage may have been compromised. Alex Jevdic KORD/KHOT/KPWKA<380 love at first flight
November 7, 201312 yr All is good, I hope. It's just a very long flight to test system stability. Not online. No acars. Just fsx and my computer during 13 hours. November 7, 201312 yr Service based failures? Sounds great! Makes flying more interesting and means that I must limit the time I spend at the kettle! Is there an option to turn it off? Just curious. Kind regards, Luke Bischoff

Yes, in the FMC if you go to PMDG options, under the simulation menu you will find the service based failures option

November 9, 201312 yr Author Make sure you keep up on the maintenance...... Good point, I mean how do I repair the issue? Do I just clear active or ? As for speeding up the rate so more things go wrong (quicker) I am going to keep it as real as possible ) Kimberly Richmond-Jones xox
November 11, 201312 yr Good point, I mean how do I repair the issue? Do I just clear active or ? on the gorund go to PMDG option and use the "maintenance" page. some systems need maintenance evry 300H some once in 1000H and even once in 20000H. Stas H. IVAO ID 234784 VATSIM ID 999196
