KDCA is today's Deal of the day at simmarket. Both the FS9/FSX/P3D and the X-Plane versions are 50% off, but only today.

Not a perfect rendition--not the easiest airport on frames--but at this price it's a no-brainer for anyone even vaguely interested in the airport.

I guess this "deal of the day" will last a couple of days - just like the other simmarket deals. No guarantees given, though!!!

The expiry date says November 11, so I guess it's really a one day opportunity, although I did not pay close attention to the previous "deals of the day".

 

And yes, it's not perfect, that's true, but when I paid the full price for it I wasn't unhappy about what it offers.

The "deal of the day" at simmarket is usually 1 week long (so why not call it "deal of the week" :blink: ) Anyway, the deals are really good, KBUF was already great and KDCA is good for that amount of money as well.... Looking forward to next weeks deal!

Almost picked KDCA up when I purchased KBUF the other day. Glad I waited in order to save a little $$. So far for the price, I am well pleased. Frames stay in the high teens to mid 20s using DX10. Not bad with the extra surrounding areas although the colors are not consistent with the airport. Still no big problem.

 

Olli if I were you I would try the KDCA first since with the extra surrounding area with KDCA you might not need Newport's photo real.

I like KDCA so much that I grabbed the FS9/FSX/P3D version and the XP10 version.
