1st Lufthansa T7F on duty since a week

Featured Replies

Hello Folks,

"PMDG's Lufthansa Cargo T7F" is now on duty since a week. It's given name is "Good Day, USA" and meanwhile it has been on tour between FRA, JFK, ATL and ORD.

It was delivered to LH home base in FRA already 2013-11-09. In the meantime Lufthansa made its usual customizations and so D-ALFA actually started service 2013-11-19.

Here are some short TV reports from  the Frankfurt studios of a German broadcaster:

Boeing 777F - Das größte Frachtflugzeug der Welt landet in Frankfurt

("the arrival" with plane spotters and Lufthansa/EDDF fleet management outlook) 09.11.2013
Boeing 777 in Frankfurt gelandet

("the whole story" with scenes from LH pilot training in Berlin) 11.11.2013
Boeing 777 - Pilotentraining für das größte Frachtflugzeug der Welt

All clips are in German language, no subtitles available, but pictures (and subject) speak for themselves...

Aerologic operated the T7 for Lufthansa cargo, in fact Lufthansa and DHL own the aircraft. I guess it is still business as usual for them?

Had to manually copy and paste the links to get it to work. I'm not sure why the original links were being redirected elsewhere.

AeroLogic flies DHL routes and on some days subs in for Lufthansa Cargo. This is Lufthansa pilots flying a Lufthansa airplane.
